Business pressures sometimes demand that projects are delivered in shorter timeframes that would be considered ideal for risk management or optimum efficiency. We are happy to work with our clients to find creative ways to deliver systems when the business needs them. The hard won experience of our consultants often proves invaluable in identifying smart ways of minimizing risk and avoiding de-scoping while delivering on time and to budget.
Lifecycle
The Mirifice team has the skills to take a project from inception to delivery: on time and to budget.
Different skills are often required for different stages of the project. Unlike many software houses or freelance consultancies Mirifice will apply a mixed team to best fit the evolving needs of the project.
However, there will always be a single Manager or Team Leader responsible for delivery: owning the project delivery from start to finish.
Development Tools
Mirifice engineers have experience of a wide range of languages, tools and environments for software design and development. We will gladly recommend the use of particular design tools, documentation formats, development languages or testing tools. However, we do not mandate particular technologies or tools: we understand that our customers need consistency with their in-house tools and practices.
IP Retention
Mirifice has an existing product business around our Mirimon monitoring solution. Where a customer project has significant overlap with Mirimon we might look to retain IP. However, generally we are happy to transfer IP to our clients. We are always happy to discuss IP retention as part of the commercial agreement.
Teaming
Mirifice understands that many projects will involve a number of parties. We are happy to work within these mixed teams providing fair and mutual agreements apply to all.
Support
We can offer ongoing support services for consultancy projects or we can train your in-house support teams to provide this function.
