If travelling from M4 (north) leave at junction 18 and travel towards Bath for about 7 miles on the A46 until you reach the A4 (beware the speed cameras).
Filter left off the dual carriageway and take 3rd exit towards Bath along the A4.
Continue straight for about 1 mile and when near major set of lights (Cleveland Place) take the left hand lane (signposted A36 Warminster).
Turn left at the lights and on past the fire station on the left. Continue on until a new junction and set of traffic lights.
Turn right along the A36 and go straight ahead at the next (Bathwick) roundabout. Turn right at the next lights under the railway line.
There are car parks on the left (Cricket Ground) or right (Sports Centre) which you may wish to use, as parking is restricted next to the office.
Proceed on over the river and across the island road junction (turn right-left). Head for the Abbey (right) down a no-through road on the far side of the island. 4 Abbey Street is located adjacent to the Roman Baths on the corner of the Abbey courtyard.
If travelling on A36 (south) follow the road into the city and follow above directions from Bathwick roundabout.
If travelling by train follow the road immediately in front of the station for approximately 300 metres until you reach the traffic lights, then head left towards the Abbey.
